Jackie Reses is Chief Development Officer for Yahoo! Inc. In this role, Jackie focuses on global development in four key areas - people, culture, partnerships and M&A. Jackie also serves on the board of directors of Alibaba Group.
Jackie brings breadth and depth of experience to Yahoo!, with a 20-year career focused on building companies through organic and inorganic growth. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Jackie led the U.S. media group at Apax Partners, one of the largest global private equity firms. While at Apax, she made some of the firm’s most significant investments in media and education companies, and also worked extensively on recruiting, training and executive development. Jackie served as CEO of iBuilding Inc., a real estate software business, and spent seven years at Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions and the principal investment area. Among her additional responsibilities at Goldman Sachs, she helped drive the firm’s recruiting and mentoring efforts for women.
Jackie has served on several corporate and non-profit boards, was named one of Crain's New York Business' "Most Influential Women," and was one of Dealmaker magazine's "Dealmakers of the Year." She received a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
